Hey Y’all,

I’m sorry I haven’t written for a few weeks. I was waiting and waiting and WAITING to be able to send my next prayer report with an announcement that the well was finished. But we have had several delays and so I decided to write to you anyway and we’ll have the report about the well, hopefully, by early this next week. The most recent delay was that the drilling rig broke on Monday. We are already in the process of trying to get the part for the other machine (that cleans out the wells?!) and so we found ourselves on Monday with both machines broken. Hey Y’all,

Thanks for all your prayers. I am so happy and excited tonight. We have had so many wonderful things happen in just two days.

Yesterday was our first Sunday School class at Destino del Reino. We had 16 children come and they ranged from ages 6 to 18. I was so amazed that even the 18 year old girl and several 15-year old boys enjoyed the coloring of the pages at the end of the lesson. These peopl are so unspoiled and appreciative of anything to do and it is so refreshing to teach them because they are just captivated by the stories and songs and Bible verses. Hey Everyone,

I thought it was about time for me to send out a report since so much has been happening over the past two weeks.

As you know, my cousin Bob came last week and held a medical clinic in the village next to Destino del Reino. We had a great week and a really good clinic. He saw over 200 people and we were able to take care of most of their medical needs. So many of you contributed to the clinic in various ways. We used medicines that were left with us from the Alabama team in March and we gave out vitamins and childrens’ medicines that were given by many in Augusta. Hey Everyone,

Please be praying today as often as you think of it about the bus. The status right now is that it is back in port in Houston and my friend, Jeff (a lawyer) is negotiating with the shipping company to pay for the cost of shipping the contents of the bus back to us in a container at no charge because of their errors that caused us to lose our opportunity to receive our things. Please pray for favor with the shipping company — we should know something in the next few days. Thanks for all your prayer support.
