Thanks for your prayers

Hey Everyone,

Thank you SOOO much for your faithful prayers this past week. My mom’s surgery was very successful and I know it is because of all the prayers. The doctors had anticipated a 4-hour surgery that would be very complicated. Instead, it was 1 1/2 hours and it was so easy that the doctor couldn’t believe it. She did, in fact, have some cancer but it was completely encapsulated and they were able to take it out completely clean with 1/4 of her right kidney. They said that she doesn’t even need to go through chemotherapy or radiation as follow-up because they know they got it all. Praise God for such a WONDERFUL report. Please continue to pray for her as she is in a lot of pain… Continue reading

A GLORIOUS Week!!

Hey Y’all,

Thanks SOOO much for all your prayers for the last 10 days — we had a WONDERFUL time with the group from West Acres Baptist in Augusta!! We estimate that more than 100 received Jesus as their savior during our 4 days of door-to-door evangelism and with the 4 days of Vacation Bible Schoo. It is hard to judge exactly the number, but many came to know Jesus personally and we were so honored to be a part of welcoming them into the Family!! We did have some kind of virus passing through our group but everyone seemed to survive with sweet attitudes anyway and most got sick after the most important days of evangelism and VBS. God’s timing was perfect. We are anxious to follow up… Continue reading

Pray for Us

Hey Everyone,

I know all of you are so faithful to pray for the ministry of Destino del Reino and for me, and I just want to remind you to be praying MUCH this week coming up. We will be doing evangelism in a place called Puente Curba (Curve Bridge). It is an area and not exactly a village because all the houses are along the highway. There is a pastor that has been asked by some of the people to come and start a churcfh and they have sold a lot of tamales to make money for the cement blocks to start a church. He has such a heart to reach the entire area and so we will cover about 40 houses during the week and share Christ… Continue reading

One Very Hard Week

Hey Y’all,

I’m sorry that it has been over a week since I wrote last. I try to write once a week but the days went by so quickly and there was so much happening.

Please continue to pray faithfully for us here — it seems that Satan has attacked in many ways, using circumstances and discouragement, disunity, etc. and we need to stand against all that in the name of Jesus and be victorious in the victory that Christ died for!!

We had such a great week with the group here from Bayvale and after they left and we got down to everyday life, I realized that a lot of disunity had been going on while I was away. I believe that most situations have been… Continue reading
