Prayers Needed

Hey Everyone,

As always, we have a lot of prayer requests for you to bring before the Father on behalf of Destino del Reino — but we praise God that you are part of this team and your faithful prayers are accomplishing much for the kingdom of God!!

The school is going along well in spite of the fact that we still have not found the teachers we were looking for.  Please keep praying about that.  There is a Christian school near us that is supposedly not going to have the funds to make it after December and I keep wondering if God is holding off on us because we will need to provide a job for a few of those teachers.   The missionary that was going to… Continue reading

Answered Prayer

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick note to tell you that CARLOS GOT HIS PERMISSION to come to the United States.  The biggest surprise though was that we were seeking a 2-week permission for the missions conference in Augusta, but we prayed that God would give us favor with the Ambassador’s representative.  Carlos got favor —- He was given 10 YEARS OF PERMISSION!!!!  We just couldn’t believe it.   People that have been deported for sneaking into the US before almost never get permission at all.  Then they need to wait usually 10 years to even seek permission.  Even people who have never been deported don’t normally get more than a 5-year visa — this is soooooooo amazing and ONLY GOD could do it.   The lady loved his testimony that he… Continue reading

Thanks Again for Your Prayers

Hey Everyone,
As always we are so grateful for your faithfulness in prayer for us at Destino del Reino.  There is a lot going on but we are finding more and more faith to meet each new challenge.  I can look back over the past year with all its conflicts and struggles, and really see a difference in my faith and I praise God for that.  Thank you for praying for me that I will continue to grow in my faith and not waiver with doubts or fears when the hard times come.

We are still looking for two more teachers.   One is for the second grade, but Ariel (a young man who is legally a teacher although he is only 18 years old) is covering the class until… Continue reading

God is Showing Off

Hey Ya’ll

God is really showing off His glory and goodness at Destino del Reino.

First of all, I wanted to thank all of you for praying for us during the Category 5 Hurricane Felix that was heading straight for Siguatepeque.  In answer to all our prayers and yours, the Hurricane just completely diffused at the mountain ranges as it entered Honduras from Nicaragua and we barely had bad weather.  We had had worse weather in the past weeks, in fact.  We got rain but no high winds or anything that could cause the least bit of damage to us at Destino.  God is so amazing.
When the Hurricane was heading our way, the group that was here from West Acres in Evans, Georgia, quickly relocated from the… Continue reading
