Thanks for your prayers for us at Destino and especially for joining us in our prayer march for victory here. We had an incredible time. I can’t really explain it but we KNEW something was happening in the heavenlies when we were marching and shouting and singing with the children. They had NO doubts at all. We talked about the story (the TRUE story) where God told the Israelites they didn’t need to fight in the battle and they just sent praise singers out against the enemies of God and they enemies began to fight against one another. New Plan of Battle
Hey Everyone,
We need your prayers (as always). The thieves have been waiting in the woods every night since Friday night when they broke in Carlos and Wendy’s house. They are waiting for another opportunity. We have had our guys patrolling the land every night and shootting in the air to keep them back. They wrote threats in the dirt in the floor of the unfinished clinic building. The problem in Honduras is that the police don’t want to come and if someone was arrested they would only serve a month or so in jail and then come back for more revenge. Time to Start Praying MUCHO!!
Hey Everyone,
I know y’all were praying for the last 6 weeks about our break-ins and it looked like they had stopped — but now I think it was just your prayers that were keeping the people away from Destino. We need to start praying AGAIN!! Last night, we had a wonderful church service and afterwards, as always, Carlos left to take some teachers back to Siguatepeque. Wendy and her youngest son went into their house and I went there to borrow a movie. I walked back to my house and was only in my house 3 minutes when Wendy called me and screamed “there are men outside” — before we could think what to do, Wendy and Kenny came screaming and running into our house. The Land is OURS!!!
Hallelujah, we just went to Tegucigalpa today and signed the land papers — we cannot wait to see all that God has planned for this new property. The owner of the chicken company and the other assistants were so great and we had a wonderful time sharing with them about all the miracles of the ministry of Destino. They said they had something else to tell us — there was a buyer that offered quite a bit more money for the land but they really knew they were supposed to let us have it for the lower price — we were so amazed.
