Hey Everyone,

Last night Carlos’ son suddenly had blood coming from his ear and they took him to the clinic late and it was a severe infection in his tonsils that had spread to his ear.  He is okay, but then this morning, the alarms go off in the school and we investigated what it was and nothing or no one was in the school.  About the time that the alarm sounded and Carlos headed to investigate, Alexander started convulsing.   We have the medication for him so we gave him the medicines and he is calm now.

Hey Prayer Team,

I am so sorry that it (again) has taken me so long to get an update to you.  I like to keep you updated because you are so faithful to pray for all our needs at Destino del Reino.

God has been blessing us in a great way lately.  We were able to pay off a huge chunk of our debt to the teacher retirement and now can start paying monthly and we can soon get our final accreditation for the school.  Please be praying that those papers will pass through the government without any hitch now. 

School is going great this year.  The teachers, both American and Honduran, are doing a great job and there is always such a spirit of love there… Continue reading

Hey Everyone, I will write a better update in the next few days. Our internet is down and I can’t spend a lot of time in the internet cafe in town to send anything right now — also spam has come from my email account when I have used the internet cafe. I am so sorry for that.

Just one quick note to ask for prayer. Tomorrow night (Saturday) we are having a dinner for the fathers of the students. We don’t have many fathers in the homes in Honduras but we are surprisingly having 56 fathers coming tomorrow night (that is pretty good for 218 students this year). Hey Everyone,

I just was informed that we are still lacking 25 full sponsorships ($60/month) and 10 half sponsorships ($30/month) for our school children. We are already feeding 230 kids every day and we desperately need help in finding some more sponsors. There is a 3-minute video on the website www.destinodelreino.org that you can download to a CD and present to your church or family or friends or even maybe your small group. We have several families where all the adults pitch in a little money each month to cover the $60 and the entire family prays for the student.
