Our Children
Abi Abi, 5 years old, is a cousin to three of the other children at Destino. Her aunt brought her to live with us because her mom had given one child away and at the time was mistreating and neglecting Abi. Abi has regained her health and is a very happy loving child. She was born on September 4, 2006. Since that time her mother was pregnant with another unwanted child and planned to abort the baby. We asked her to please deliver the baby and bring him to Destino so that Abi could have a little brother. |

Blanca Blanca, 13 years old, was born on September 13th, 1998. She is a very loving child and constantly is kissing all the other babies. She is a real help around the house with the smaller children. Her father is in prison for molesting her sister and her mother had to find work to provide for her other children. Her brothers Cesar and Jonathan also live at Destino. Please pray for Blanca to come to know Jesus Christ at an early age. She loves to sing the songs she learns in Sunday School each week and needs to know the security of the true Father. |
Carlitos Carlitos, 11 years old, was born on June 14th, 2000. Carlitos’ mom is mentally retarded and so a grandmother was taking care of the boys until she became ill. Carlitos is very sweet and affectionate and needs a lot of nurturing and love. He had very little personal attention as a young child, so he has really enjoyed all the love here at Destino. He adjusted very quickly and loves having so many brothers to play with. |
Cesar Cesar, 10 years old, was born on August 1st, 2001. He adjusted very quickly to living here and is very open and loving. His father is in prison for molesting his sister and his mother had to move to a bigger city to look for work to feed her other children. Cesar is the most athletic in the family. He loves to play futbal (soccer). His brother Jonathan and sister Blanca also live at Destino. Please pray for Cesar to continue adjusting well to his life here at Destino. |
Cokie Cokie, 9 years old, was born on July 20th, 2002. She is a cutie and so full of love and joy. Her mom committed suicide and her father (only 20 years old) brought her to live with us. He has a drug and alcohol problem but knew that he wanted a good life for his children. Cokie likes to try to take care of the other children with me. Cokie lives at Destino with her sister Eidy. |
David David, 3 years old, was born on November 14, 2008. He came to live at Destino del Reino when he was about 6 months old. His mother was escaping from a very abusive situation and she had to get out of the village and find work in a city to support herself and could not take along a child . David is very affectionate and smart and strong willed and the older children just adore him. |

Eidy
 Eidy, 11 years old, was born on July 25th, 2000. She is a rambunctious little girl, wide-open and mischievous. Her mom committed suicide and her father (at only 20 years old) brought her to live with us. He has an alcohol problem but knew that he wanted a good life for his children. Eidy needs prayer to learn to obey better and also not to be so controlling of the other children. She is a born leader and needs some grace with the other children at times. Her sister Cokie lives at Destino with her. |
Emily Emily, 6 years old, was born on December 11th, 2005. She was a fat little happy baby. Her older brother, Sammy, was already living with us since he was 20 days old. Their mother, Janet, was just a teenager herself with no means of supporting her two babies. The father is much older, married with six children and therefore is uninvolved. Their mom went to the United States to live with her uncle and left Destino with custody of her two little children. She has accepted Christ as her Savior, and we pray that she will find a good life in the USA and God will put a Christian man in her life to protect her. |
Erick Erick, 18 years old. He is such a helper around the house especially with the new baby that is here with us now. His father abandoned his mother several years ago and he had been living with cousins in Jocon until he came to Destino. He loves to help the volunteers that come to serve at Destino del Reino. He has accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and loves to read his Bible and go to Sunday School here at Destino del Reino. His birthday is March 17th, 1993. |
Jonathan Jonathan, 9 years old, was born on September 23rd, 2002. He is an easy going, happy little boy and always has liked to think he’s one of the Big boys. When Jonathan was only one, his mom had to leave him with us even though she was still nursing him at the time. She had his father put in prison for raping his older sister and had to move to a bigger city to look for work to be able to provide food for herself and other of his older siblings. Jonathan lives at Destino with his brother Cesar and sister Blanca. Please pray for Jonathan to continue to adjust to his life here at Destino del Reino. |
Josue Josue, 8 years old, came to us in April 2005. He was neglected, abused and evidently had never been held. Josue’s mother brought him to us after his father abandoned her. He was completely unemotional and unresponsive at 20 months when he entered Destino del Reino. Now, he is completely a different little boy. He is so happy and a very vital part of our family of Destino. Since that time, the father has returned and come to visit Josue at Destino but realizes that this is by far the best life for little Josue and he has signed permission for us to raise Josue at Destino until he is grown. His birthday is July 23, 2003. |
Sammy Sammy David, 7 years old, was born on January 7th, 2005. He came to live with us on February 3rd, 2005 when he was 3 weeks old. His mother was 18-years old and did not want him. His father had abandoned her when she got pregnant. We have custody of Sammy officially through the Judicial system and so we are sure that he will be able to grow up at Destino with us. Thanks for your prayers for this precious little one. Sammy’s sister Emily also lives at Destino. |
